WWNC/WRAC position
Whereas the Westwood Neighborhood Council is an eligible Neighborhood Council created pursuant to the Charter of the City of Los Angeles from the PLAN FOR A CITYWIDE SYSTEM OF NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCILS, and Whereas the Westwood Neighborhood Council exists within the geographic area represented by the Westside Regional Alliance of Councils as designated in the WRAC bylaws, Therefore the Westwood Neighborhood Council approves participation in the Westside Regional Alliance of Councils as a qualified member organization.
Neighborhood Purpose Grants
“Whereas the Westwood Neighborhood Council supports the community through programs dedicated to beautify Westwood Village in support of its residents, businesses, and visitors, be it resolved that the Westwood Neighborhood Council shall directly purchase up to $7,500 in materials and supplies for use during the Westwood Organized Mega Project 3 on Sunday, April 17, 2011 in support of activities coordinated by the Westwood Community Council, the UCLA Volunteer Center, and the Westwood Neighborhood Council.”
